Each quarter, we recognize a team member who demonstrates excellence in their role while embodying our core values. For Q4 2026, we are proud to recognize Nina Harbor, Inventory Specialist, as our Employee of the Quarter. Nina has quickly become an essential part of the Mika team. In a short time, she has made a meaningful impact through her attention to detail, organization, and commitment to continuous improvement.
Nina has been with the company for one year, and during that time has played an important role in keeping our operations running smoothly. As an Inventory Specialist, she ensures critical components stay organized and inventory is tracked accurately to maintain efficient production which supports our customers.
She also contributes to important company initiatives, such as our recent ISO 9001 : 2015 certification.
When asked about her talents, Nina describes herself as organized, a quality that clearly shows in her work. Maintaining accurate inventory and keeping materials properly managed helps the entire team operate efficiently and meet customer expectations. Her strong organizational skills contribute to smoother workflows across departments and helps ensure production stays on track.
The Mika core value that resonates most with Nina is Continuous Improvement. She believes there is always an opportunity to learn something new and find ways to improve processes. This mindset aligns closely with Mika’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and always striving to be better.
One of the things Nina appreciates most about working at Mika is the opportunity to prove herself and continue learning. She values the trust the company has placed in her and the willingness of her teammates to train and support one another. According to Nina, everyone at Mika is always willing to share knowledge and help each other succeed, which creates a positive and collaborative environment.
Nina shared that Rachel, a colleague at Mika, inspires her to always do her best, while her father inspires her to keep pushing forward and never give up. When asked what animal best represents her personality, Nina jokingly chose a black sheep, explaining that she’s comfortable doing things her own way even if that means being the only one doing it.
When she’s not at Mika, Nina enjoys relaxing and recharging. If time and money were no object, she says she would love to move to a secluded farmhouse, raise animals, and spend time playing video games.
