Tina Rolain – Employee Spotlight

At Mika Metal Fabricating, we are proud to recognize team members who consistently demonstrate hard work, dedication, and a strong commitment to excellence. Today, we are excited to spotlight Tina Rolain, our Paint Supervisor!

3.5 Years of Growth at Mika

Tina has been a key member of the Mika team for 3½ years. Throughout her tenure, she has gained hands-on experience in a variety of roles across the shop floor including assembly, spot welding, bending, and powder coating before stepping into her current leadership position as Paint department Supervisor. Her versatility and deep understanding of manufacturing processes make her an invaluable leader and teammate.

Proudest Accomplishments

When reflecting on her journey over the past year, Tina is most proud of becoming Paint Supervisor. Stepping into this leadership role highlights her dedication to quality craftsmanship and continuous growth within the company.

Living Mika's Core Values

Among Mika’s core values, the one that speaks most strongly to Tina is Team Always. Tina embodies a collaborative mindset every day, ensuring that team members support one another and work toward shared goals.

What Tina Loves Most About Mika

When asked what she enjoys best about working at Mika, Tina highlighted the supportive team atmosphere: “The teamwork, all the help everyone is willing to give. We are like a family.”

Creative Talents & Hobbies Outside of Work

Outside of the shop floor, Tina enjoys staying creative and connecting with nature. Her favorite hobbies include painting and gardening. Described by others as determined, caring, and supportive, Tina brings that same thoughtful and resilient energy into everything she does.

Biggest Inspiration

Tina’s biggest inspiration is her mother. The strength, guidance, and example set by her mother continue to inspire her personal and professional journey.

Dream Destination

If time and money were no object, Tina would travel wherever she could with her primary goal being to visit her brother in Germany and see his family (wife and two nephews).

The Spirit of a Wolf

When asked which animal best matches her personality, Tina chose the wolf a powerful reflection of how she balances her dedication to the team with her own inner strength. As Tina shares: "They are both communal harmony and personal autonomy. They remind us that life is enriched by close bonds and shaped by our readiness to explore new frontiers!" This balance between community and independence shines through in Tina’s role as Paint Supervisor. Just as a wolf protects and leads its pack while relying on strong individual focus, Tina leads her shop team with a deep sense of family while driving quality, craftsmanship, and new achievements every day.

Thank you, Tina, for your dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to team spirit. We are proud to have you leading the way at Mika Metal Fabricating. Congratulations!
